Muldoon's Men's Wear Shipping Rates & Information

Shipping Information (United States):
Muldoon's ships packages via UPS or the US Postal Service.  Most orders are shipped the same day you order, unless we are missing items.  In the case that we are missing any items from your order we will hold your order until we have all items.  Most out of stock items usually arrive within 10-14 days from when we place the order, if we become aware of a delay we will contact you regarding the delay and what options are available to you.

UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air & 3 Day Select Information:
1.  If you need your order quick, using one of the above shipping methods will expedite your order for a nominal fee.  We only ship Monday - Friday, so orders placed over the weekend or on holidays will ship the first open weekday.  Deliveries to customers are made Monday - Friday (except holidays), so if you order Friday and choose Next Day Air, you will receive it Monday.
2.  Although UPS guarantees these shipments to arrive in the allotted time frame, we can not be responsible for any delays beyond our control (i.e. natural disasters, breakdown in transportation, or wrongly routed packages by UPS).  If any of these happens, we will attempt to help recover some or all of the shipping costs lost if possible.
3.  If we have to partially ship an order and you have chosen an expedited shipping, we will ship what we have at the time via your shipping choice.  The remainder of your order will be shipped UPS Ground (our expense) or for a prorated fee will ship using a faster mode of delivery.  If you want your remaining order shipped using one of these options, please contact us regarding prices.
4.  If your whole order consists of items that are out of stock and you choose an expedited delivery mode, this will not speed up the time it takes for us to receive the items in.  If this is the case, we will contact you to discuss whether you want to keep the expedited shipping mode.

UPS Ground Information:
1.  UPS Ground deliveries normally arrive with 2 - 5 business days from the date shipped.  As with expedited shipping, we can not guarantee that your package will arrive as scheduled due to delays beyond our control (i.e. natural disasters, breakdown in transportation, or wrongly routed packages by UPS).
2.  UPS Ground is only available to the Continental 48 United States.  Although UPS has a Ground service to Alaska, we have found the price to be comparable to shipping 2nd Day Air via UPS.  Therefore, we will only ship US Mail or Next Day Air  / 2nd Day Air to Alaska & Hawaii.

US Priority Mail:
1.  Although we prefer UPS (because of the ability to track a package), we do honor those that need to have their shipment sent via US Mail.
2.  Because we can not track US Priority Mail packages, please understand that if there is a delay in the arrival of your package, there is not much we can do.
3.  All orders being shipped to an APO/FPO are sent via US Mail.  For rates, please see the table above.

About Our Rates:
1. The majority of our customers will find that the amount we charge for shipping is lower then the actual cost that the carrier charges us.  For an example, please see the charges (based on actual rates found on UPS.com) below for a 3 pound package sent UPS Ground (equivalent of  two pair of pants):

As you can see, the above 7 cities averaged a shipping price (our price) of $10.16, which is higher then the price we charge you.  With this example, depending on what type of pants you buy, your shipping costs associated with your order will be either $7.50 or $8.50.  We will always try to keep your cost down to have an order shipped, so please realize that what may seem like a high price sometimes for shipping is much lower then what it should be.  Shipping to larger cities will always be a bit lower then sending the same package to a small town, as the last three cities shown above are.

Additional Information:
1.  Tracking information is only available for shipments shipped via UPS.  Once we ship your order, you will receive an automated email with tracking information.
2.  Most orders received by 3:00pm CST (Monday - Friday) ship same day (unless we have to alter any items or an item is out of stock).  We usually do not process orders over the weekend, but if we do, your shipment won't leave our store until Monday afternoon (or next open business day if Monday is a holiday).
3.  Packages should be inspected upon receipt to verify that there is no damage caused during delivery.  If you find damage, please contact the carrier immediately to file a claim.  At that point they will contact us about a possible replacement if needed.  
4.  If you send any items back to us for an exchange, we reserve the right to charge you for shipping costs to send the items back to you.  Unless requested, we will ship items via UPS.
5.  IMPORTANT: If you give us an address that is wrong or is missing an apartment number (including suites, room number, etc...) we reserve the right to charge you for the fees incurred by the carrier to find the correct address.  Please be very careful when filling out your address to include all information needed to have your package delivered properly.
6.  UPS will attempt up to 3 times to deliver a package.  If you are unable to accept your package within the 3 attempts, you need to contact your local UPS Service Station to make arrangements to either have it delivered else where or to personally pick it up.  If an order is returned to us after the 3 attempts, we will charge you full price to send the package again.
